A team of ten from the Strategic Planning Office ventured over the road to the hidden gem that is Stockton Road Cemetery for a morning of gardening.
Not a lot of departments know this small haven exists - it's ideally located and always in need of a little TLC.
The group split into sub teams and spread out around the grounds to cover a variety of tasks: weeding the graves, replanting poppies, removing raspberry canes, to name just a few.
Everyone got stuck in whilst revelling in the sunshine and even spoke about returning in the autumn; and making Stockton Road Cemetery their charity for their volunteering days.
