Dr Andrew Cattermole - Head of
Staff Volunteering & Outreach
Andrew has worked at the University since 2003 and is currently Head of
Staff Volunteering & Outreach. Andrew has a previous background in
logistics management in the private sector, prior to returning to higher
education as a mature student to gain a BSc (Hons) in Countryside Management
and a PhD in Rural Development, both from Newcastle University. Prior to
joining Durham University Andrew worked in a range of regeneration roles and as
an independent consultant.
Stacy Porter - Volunteer & Engagement Officer
Stacy has worked within the University since 2009, completing her Apprenticeship with Team Durham. She is an active volunteer, outside of work, and is passionate about improving the local community.

Jane started working at Durham University in May 2016 having graduated
the previous year with a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and its Applications from
