Yesterday saw the first Team Challenge of 2017!!
A team from the Student Recruitment & Admissions Office helped sort craft items for RT Projects which will be sold on their eBay shop.
The group were received with a warm welcome, and after learning about RT Projects they set to work. The charity receives countless craft donations but unfortunately don't have the time to sift through everything so they were grateful to the volunteers for not only organising the stock but also helping them gain future funds.
Not everyone is a fan of the outdoors and physical tasks and this Team Challenge is a great example of the alternatives. This team have volunteered with Staff Volunteering before, having done a multitude of tasks, and said that this one was their favourite.
Hopefully we'll have another team at RT Projects very soon!
