Yes, we're cutting it really fine calling it the January newsletter (14 hours left of the month to be precise) but we've been busy behind the scenes sourcing and creating content (read all about it here).
We changed tactic for creating Team Challenges this New Year; instead of having a few opportunities on specific dates, we've gathered lots of opportunities with no specific dates in the hope that it'll encourage more people to look ahead and add volunteering to their diaries.
We've got a broad range of tasks so there's something for everyone. Lots of our partners are in need of a spare pair of hands (or five) including Stockton Road Cemetery, Durham Foodbank, RT Projects, Ushaw College, Tees Valley Wildlife Trust and Ark on the Edge.
If you or your department would like to volunteer at one of the above charities, or one that isn't listed, email us at community.engagement@durham.ac.uk and we'll help you volunteer!
