Friday became a double team challenge day! The first of the two
was a morning of litter picking at Seaham Beach – definitely worse places to be
on a sunny Friday.
A team of 8 from Experience Durham descended onto the beach wearing
their high viz and carrying their pickers ready to clean. The ever so
competitive bunch decided to make it into a competition of who could pick the most litter in the time allotted. It was a close contest but there was a clear winner in the end.
The group filled an amazing 10 bags in a few hours. They rewarded themselves with fish & chips at the end - you can't go to a beach and not have fish & chips right?
