As you would expect, dog based volunteering days are very
popular. We have a number of Open Challenges throughout the year and every time
the newsletter is sent out with dates, the spaces are filled within minutes. No
joke, we’ve timed it!
The Dogs Trust is a good volunteering day if you can’t
commit to a full day as it’s only a morning session. Saying that, so much is
achieved in such a short space of time: kennel cleaning, general maintenance,
gardening and of course, dog walking.
The volunteers thoroughly enjoyed the experience and loved interacting
with the dogs.
